While I was with Richard in the morning, a second photographer covered Liz’s preparations with her family, capturing the calm, happy energy in the room as she got ready in one of the mansion’s elegant suites. Her dress was simple, tailored, and quietly stunning.

Working with a second photographer meant we could follow both stories as they unfolded, and it gave us more freedom later for group shots, so the day stayed relaxed and on schedule.

Beautiful Details, Thoughtfully Done

Liz put real care into every detail. The flowers, designed by Connie Vera Flowers, were romantic and natural, and the tables carried handmade touches Liz had made herself, giving the reception a warm, personal feel. As the sun set, the party properly began. After a first dance full of smiles, the band struck up, and then came the twist: Liz and Richard joined in for a song of their own, to the delight of their guests. The dancefloor stayed full long after, and it was clear no one wanted the night to end.
