Full, unhurried coverage of your whole day, from morning preparations to the peak of the party — typically 10+ hours. A thoughtful blend of digital documentary photography and a curated selection of 35mm film, with a few Living Frames — short, cinematic moving portraits — woven through. Unlimited planning calls and timeline curation, plus a fully edited, high-resolution online gallery ready to download, share and print. This is my main collection, and the way most weddings are best told.

THE ANALOGUE WEDDING — FROM £3,200
A full day photographed slowly, deliberately and entirely on 35mm film — up to 15 rolls across the day. No endless spray-and-pray galleries and no digital safety net, just real light, real grain and a wedding preserved with all the texture and quiet magic that film does so well. Includes full-day coverage, professional developing and scanning, careful editing, and a smaller, more curated and tactile online gallery. For couples who care less about having every possible frame, and more about a body of images that feels atmospheric, honest and alive.

You still get the same calm, documentary-led photography, careful editing, creative guidance when you need it, and a fully edited online gallery, with a little 35mm film woven through as standard. This is photography only, priced by the hour, for couples who want something thoughtful and tailored without committing to a full collection.

AS LONG AS YOU NEED
£235 PER HOUR
For weddings with their own rhythm, where coverage needs to be shaped around the day rather than squeezed into a fixed package.
This coverage is charged by the hour and built around what matters most to you. That might be eight hours at Garsington Manor, a relaxed ceremony and drinks reception in Oxford, extra coverage of a rehearsal dinner the night before, or a wedding day with a slightly different shape to the usual morning-to-evening structure.
You still get the same calm approach, documentary-led photography, careful editing, creative guidance when needed, and a fully edited online gallery. A little 35mm film and a few Living Frames are woven in as standard, so even the shorter days carry the same texture, movement, and atmosphere as the full collection.
This is for couples who want thoughtful, flexible coverage without being pushed into a package that does not quite fit. Some weddings need the full Documentary Collection. Others need something more tailored, built around the real pace of the day rather than the imaginary spreadsheet version of it.

This is a full-day analogue commission, photographed across up to 15 rolls of 35mm film. No endless spray-and-pray galleries, no digital safety net pretending to be romantic in the corner, and no attempt to make the day look cleaner than it felt. Just real light, real grain, real people, and a wedding day preserved with all the texture, imperfection and strange little magic that film does so well.
The final gallery is smaller, more curated, and more tactile than a standard digital wedding collection. It is for couples who care less about having every possible version of every possible moment, and more about having a body of images that feels atmospheric, honest, and alive.

DO YOU PROVIDE ALBUMS?
Yes, and you get to design them yourself.
Every collection comes with a beautifully edited online gallery, and from there you can design and order your own fine-art albums and prints directly, in whatever size, style and finish suits you. There is no waiting on me to build a layout, and no fixed album package you have to accept or pay around.
I would honestly rather you chose the images that matter most to you, arranged the way you want them, than hand you a single version I decided on. It is your day and your story, so it makes sense that the thing you keep on the shelf is genuinely yours too.
We are awkward in front of the camera. Is that a problem?
No. Most people are.
In fact, I would be more worried if you told me you were completely natural in front of a camera. That sounds suspicious.
My job is to make the process feel easy, low-pressure and human. I will not ask you to do anything that feels wildly unlike you. The best photographs usually happen once people stop trying to be good at being photographed.
Do you shoot film?
Yes. I shoot a mix of digital and 35mm film.
Digital gives me reliability, flexibility and proper coverage of the day. Film brings something slower and less polished in the best possible way. Grain, softness, colour, little imperfections. The things that make an image feel handled rather than manufactured.
A little film is included in my main wedding coverage. If you would like more, we can add extra rolls and even choose favourite stocks depending on the look you want.
What are Living Frames?
Living Frames are short, simple video clips taken alongside the photography.
They are not a full wedding film, and they are not trying to be. Think of them as small moving fragments from the day: a dress moving in the wind, voices during speeches, hands clinking glasses, the weird little dance floor moments that still photographs can only half explain.
They sit somewhere between memory and atmosphere.

How would you describe your approach?
Quietly observant, lightly directed, and very much built around the actual day rather than a fantasy version of it.
I photograph weddings with a documentary eye and an editorial sense of composition. That means I am looking for real moments, good light, movement, texture, small gestures, strange little bits of human behaviour, and the things you may not notice while you are busy being hugged by every living relative.
I will step in when direction is useful, especially for portraits, group photos and timings. The rest of the time, I am watching properly.
Do you take formal group photographs?
Yes. I do not believe group photos need to become a Victorian endurance test.
We will plan a short, sensible list before the day so nobody is standing around for forty-five minutes wondering why Uncle Barry has disappeared to the bar. I usually suggest keeping it to the key combinations unless there is a good reason to go bigger.
The aim is simple: get the important people photographed clearly, warmly and efficiently, then let everyone return to the actual wedding.
Do you direct portraits?
Yes, but not in a stiff, catalogue sort of way.
I will give enough direction so you are not left standing in a field wondering what to do with your hands, which is apparently one of the great human mysteries. But I am not interested in making you perform romance for the camera.
A short walk, good light, a bit of quiet, maybe five minutes away from the noise. That is usually enough.
